Mr. Rounick is Of Counsel to the
Firm and practices in the area of family law and commercial
litigation.
Mr. Rounick authored “Proving
that the Accountant’s Testimony Doesn’t Add Up,” article, Family
Advocate, 1980; “Pennsylvania Matrimonial Practice,” 6 Vol. Set,
updated annually, Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company; and
co-authored “The New Pennsylvania Divorce Code,” article, 1980,
Villanova Law Review, 1980; He was Founder and Editor of Pennsylvania
Family Lawyer, a monthly publication, and served as editor from
1980-1987.
Mr. Rounick received his B.B.A.
from University of Michigan in 1956 and his J.D. from the
University of Pennsylvania in 1959. Mr. Rounick received a
Special Achievement Award, Pennsylvania Bar Association,
1979-1980. Mr. Rounick has been a frequent lecturer for the
Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association and
the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Mr. Rounick was Pennsylvania
Special Assistant Attorney General from 1963 to 1971 and was
Solicitor for Plymouth Township Zoning Board, from 1965 to
1968. He also serves as Director of Deb Shops, Inc., a public
corporation.
Mr. Rounick was admitted
to the Pennsylvania Bar and the United States District Court for
the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1960. He is a member of
the Montgomery Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association
(former Chairman, Family Law Section) and the American Bar
Association, and presently is a member of Council of the
American Bar Association. Mr. Rounick is a Fellow of the
American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, of which he was a
former Vice President. Also, he was a former Vice President and
former President of the Pennsylvania Chapter, Fellow of the
International American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a
Diplomat of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. |
