Robert A. Pinel

Robert is a shareholder in the Firm’s litigation group and practices at the Firm’s Lehigh Valley office.  He concentrates in business litigation, including litigation avoidance and pre-litigation resolution.  In almost twenty years of practice, he has conducted over 100 trials and over 40 appeals in state and federal courts.   He focuses primarily on bankruptcy, financial institution and real estate litigation but has a diverse litigation and business background.  Other litigation practice areas include contracts, creditor’s rights, intellectual property, land use/zoning, environmental, municipal disputes and general commercial litigation.  His clients are equally diverse and he represents national and international corporations, local businesses, and individuals.

Robert received a B.A. from Columbia University in1984 and worked for a Member of Parliament in London, England before graduating law school from the University of Georgia. cum laude in 1989.  After clerking for a Georgia state court judge, he began his litigation practice.

Rob has practiced litigation throughout the Eastern Seaboard and Southern United States, and is admitted to practice in the numerous state and federal courts, including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Vermont and Georgia, as well as the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United State Supreme Court.

Rob also belongs to numerous organizations, including the bar associations for his states of admission.  He is a member of community and business based organizations, such as Kiwanis, that emphasize helping others in the community.  He coaches youth soccer and is on the race committee for the Tortoise and the Hare race held annually in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania.
