Mary C. Fittipaldi was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 4, 1961 and concentrates her practice in Family Law, Commercial Litigation and Criminal Defense.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from La
Salle University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition, she was awarded a Certificate of Distinction for
completing her general course of studies in the University
Honor’s Program and received the John F. Byrne Memorial
Scholarship Award for outstanding academic achievement in
Political Science.In 1992, Mary received a Juris Doctor from Villanova
University School of Law and later joined the Montgomery County
District Attorney’s Office in Norristown, Pennsylvania where she
served as an Assistant District Attorney for nine years,
retiring as Chief of Sex Crimes in 2001.
As an Assistant District Attorney, Mary was counsel on
numerous complex and publicly sensitive criminal investigations
leading to key convictions in felony and homicide cases. In
addition, Mary assisted local hospitals in developing Sexual
Assault Response Teams and collaborated with county and state
agencies to develop a protocol for multi-disciplinary
investigations. She received numerous awards and commendations
for her contribution to the community, and has given numerous
lectures and presentations to various public and private
organizations, colleges and universities.
Upon leaving the Montgomery County District Attorney’s
Office, Mary joined Wolf Block as an associate in their Family
Law department. She later became a partner with the law firm of
Wilson, Broderick, Morrow, Tompkins & Flynn. As a private
practitioner, Mary has litigated in various counties across the
state, and has appeared before numerous courts and
administrative agencies.
Mary is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Bar Association and
the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bars. She lives with her
husband and three children in Upper Providence Township. |
