Bill Callahan was born in Cape May County, New Jersey, on August 14, 1958. He
received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition from Loyola Marymount
University in 1981, and his Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law
in 1987.After graduating from law school, Bill served as a law clerk at the Bennington
County Superior and District Courts in Vermont. He then entered private
practice with Parisi and Burke in Vermont and later with Cafiero and Balliette &
Balliette in Wildwood, New Jersey. While with Cafiero and Balliette & Balliette,
Bill handled all collections and bankruptcy matters for the firm. His practice
also included numerous real estate, mortgage and land use matters, and he served
as Solicitor to the Zoning Board of Cape May Point, New Jersey.
In 1997, Bill joined Flagship Credit Corporation, an auto
financing company, where he built and managed the company’s
Bankruptcy Department. While with Flagship, Bill advised the
company’s other departments on bankruptcy related issues, and
assisted in creating and implementing the company’s policies in
relation to bankruptcy matters.
Bill is admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey
and Vermont state courts, the United States District Court for
the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the
District of New Jersey.
Bill’s practice is now focused primarily in the areas of collections and
bankruptcy. As a member of Flamm, Boroff & Bacine’s Collections and
Bankruptcy
teams, he assists the Firm’s many corporate clients in those areas. |
