 Robert
A. Bacine was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 20,
1942. Bob graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy in 1960,
from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Accounting in 1964, from Villanova University School of Law with
a Juris Doctor degree in 1967, and from New York University
Graduate School of Law with an LL.M. degree in Taxation in 1969.
Bob has practiced
in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania since 1970. He has
concentrated his areas of practice in estate planning, estate
administration, representation of small business owners and
professionals in all corporate matters, business succession
planning, employee benefits, elder law and general taxation.
Bob has been active in professional
organizations. He has been a member of the Montgomery Bar
Association since 1970, having served on its Board of Directors.
Bob was co-founder of the Montgomery Bar Association Probate and
Tax Section in the early 1980s and served as its Chairman in
1984 and 1985. He also served as Chairman of the Montgomery
County Law Reporter Committee, the legal periodical for
Montgomery County, served as Chairman of the Bar Association's
Insurance Committee, and as Chairman of the Bar Association's
Audit Committee for several years. Bob is also a member of the
Tax Sections of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania
Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. Bob also
served for 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery
County Estate Planning Council, having served as the Council's
President for the 1996-1997 fiscal year.
Bob is active in public service and community
affairs. Bob has served on the Whitemarsh Township Zoning
Hearing Board since 1984. Prior to serving on the Board, he
served on Whitemarsh Township's Planning Commission, Fire
Commission and Employee Benefits Committee. He is an active
member of the Rotary Club of Blue Bell and has served as its
Secretary since 1999.
Bob is an active member of the Valley Forge Military Academy and College
community, having been a member of the Board of Trustees since 1981. He served
as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees and as Vice
Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He also served as President of the Alumni
Association in 1981 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni
Association in 1982. |
